Who We Are
We Are Not a Corporation.
We are a small, family-owned writing service that believes every person who ever lived deserves to have their story told beautifully.
Our Story
Why We Do This Work
We started ObitNest.com because we know how hard it is to find the right words when you are grieving. The moment you lose someone, you are suddenly expected to write something perfect — something that captures an entire life — while you can barely breathe. That felt wrong to us. So we decided to do something about it.
We do this work because it matters. Not because it is easy. Because behind every obituary is a real person who loved and was loved. A father who coached Little League games. A mother who kept every birthday card. A grandmother who made the whole family feel like they were her favorite. They deserve more than a template.
We are bilingual because grief does not pick a language. Many of our families speak Spanish at home, pray in Spanish, and want to say goodbye in Spanish. We are here for them too — sin ningún cargo extra. Without any extra charge.
Our Commitment
What We Promise You
We will treat every obituary as if it were for someone we loved.
Because to us, it is.
We will deliver within one hour.
You have enough to worry about. The writing is ours to carry.
We will speak your language.
English, Spanish, or both. We are here for every family.
We will never use a template.
Every tribute is written fresh, from scratch, just for them.
The People Behind the Words
A Family-Owned Operation
ObitNest.com is run by a small team that has sat at kitchen tables, attended funerals, and held the hands of people who didn't know how to say goodbye. We are not a content farm. We are not a tech company. We are people who believe that words, at the right moment, can heal.
We serve families and funeral homes across the entire United States and in Spanish-speaking communities worldwide — from Miami to Mexico City to Medellín. Wherever grief finds you, we are here.
